The Jesus Painter

I’m starting to get really excited about The Jesus Painter coming to First Trinity on February 8. Ilene and I met to go over some of the details for the evening and I think it’s going to be great. I’ll be talking in between each of the paintings sharing the story of Jesus’ life. We’ll be starting with Jesus’s birth and go through until His death on the cross and resurrection.

The message should tie in well with the overall Easter story and leads to an easy invitation to people to come hear that story this Easter at First Trinity. In addition to all that, we’re now up to around 300 tickets sold with more going out the door each day. (If you haven’t gotten yours yet, better do it quick!) Exciting stuff!

I’m pretty excited about it too. I’ve been telling lots of people. I was asked if it is for all ages, and if it is appropriate for the young? Good questions.

It’s probably ok for the 7-10 range, but much younger and it might be hard for them to sit for so long.
