Jaime and I got Evan Almighty in our Netflix queue yesterday and watched it today. I’ve been wanting to see it for a while, but never made it to the theater. It was a fun movie with lots of great clips for teaching. Jaime says she’d give it 4 stars in the Netflix ratings. I’d probably agree with that rating. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend watching it sometime.

What did you learn from Evan?
The part where God laughs at Evan and his statement that God’s plans don’t match up with his own plans was certainly a good clip to keep on file for the future. Also, the illustration that following God sometimes leads to being persecuted is helpful.
