She’s finally here! Here are the vital statistics:
- Came into the world by C-Section on December 3, 2008 at 2:59 p.m.
- She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces at birth.
- She’s 20 inches in length and 13 inches around the head. Joanna tells us that means she’ll be a smart one!
- Nurses used the word “perfect” when describing many of the vital signs.
We’re both doing really well right now. As I type, Jaime is resting from the surgery and we’re eagerly awaiting Addison to join us in the room. Sue stopped by with some dinner for me, my laptop and cell charger and some honey crisp apples for us. Yum!

Thanks! I should also mention that Pastor and Susan came to visit after I had written this post. I was too tired to add anything when I got home and just hit publish once the pics were uploaded. A more detailed post will be on the way tomorrow (or later today since most people are reading this on Thursday).

Congratulations Jason and Jaime! I always tell people that having kids was the worst and the best thing we ever did. I’ll call ya in about 14 years and we’ll see if you agree! But in the meantime you guys will have lots of great times together.

Congrats and welcome to parenthood! Not that I’m an incredibly experienced parent, with a 4 month old, but it’s the greatest experience… babies bring so much joy! What a perfect Christmas gift! Enjoy her… she is beautiful. And I love her name!
