Misspeled Naems

Firefox has a built in spellchecker that provides suggestions for misspelled words.  I usually ignore it for names, but I clicked one today to see what suggestions came up.  It was actually quite amusing.  I won’t disclose who it was, but they frequently read this and other church staff/member blogs.

So here’s my question: what suggested spellings occur for your name?  Mine has none.  We’ll use Spellify as our common resource.  Post your results in the comments.

I’m assuming you meant last name? The suggested spellings for my last name (Beras) came up as: Bras, Boreas, and Beria’s. I only know what bras are lol, don’t know the other two.

Well, you can do it for any of your names, but last names are usually the ones the spellcheckers won’t recognize. I would have figured “bears” would come up for you.

I came up as bramble which I have seen before. I am nervous doing this because Jason likes to give me nicknames.

Nope, no bears Jason, not using Spellify at least.

The worst it wants to do to me is either take the capital out of the middle of my (surname) MacKenzie or make me Leola, which is actually rather funky! Fun stuff, Spellify! Thanks:)

    Thanks for stopping by, Lola!

Anytime, Jason! I’m definitely going to be checking back. 🙂

First name came out no errors. Funny, since it can be spelled so many ways.

    Last on the other hand…
