A Custom Leader

An interesting post came through my RSS Reader today from Church Relevance about learning from our mistakes as a leader.  I like point number 2: Be a custom leader.  Basically, not everyone relates the same way and we can’t expect to deal with all of our leaders or co-workers the same way.  I’ve often thought that it would be great to have something like the five love languages for the work environment.

I’m glad you liked the post Jason. Books like Chapman’s Five Love Languages helped encourage me as a leader to better understand my volunteers.

Two other books I would recommend are:

    Thanks for the suggestions!

(In other news, I had my first run-in with Askimet mis-identifying a comment as spam. But it got 3 others right, so that’s good I guess.)
